This week Rafael Nadal won his 11th French Open Championship – extending his own record at this tournament. Take a loot at the highlights in the video above.
Although still a prolific player, Nadal has had nowhere near the same amount of success on other surfaces. Clay courts are different to play on than other surfaces as the ball bounces slower and higher, meaning rallies usually last a long time.
Discuss the physical and mental attributes of Nadal’s game that allow him to be such a great player when playing on clay.
